AllSports Select Self Defense

Our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive resource on functional realistic self-defense. Self-defense is not what most people think it is. There’s only one goal in self-defense, and it isn’t to beat up or take out an attacker with martial arts moves. The goal of self-defense is to prevent injury to you.

Curriculum Outline The following is a basic outline of the Functional Self Defense curriculum.

Part 1 steps to preventing an attack

6 steps you can take to avoid becoming a victim:

  • Escape When You Feel Threatened
  • De-escalate Verbal Conflicts

Part 2
Getting your body up to standard to begin your self-defense training a good understanding of this foundation is crucial to you being able to learn how to control your own body first and know yourself before you can hope to control your enemy.

Equipment Required:

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and athletic shoes. AllSports Select provides all other equipment needed for this course.

Unattended minors are NOT allowed. They must be escorted by a parent or guardian at all times or be enrolled in one of AllSports Select appropriate courses.
